What is Project Zero

Free Tessen intelligence for coding, served only on verified zero-cost capacity.

Project Zero is Tessen's developer program for real coding work. During the Developer Alpha it is free to the developer: a Project Zero request is served only on capacity Tessen has verified costs nothing to serve.

Why it is free

Before a route may serve Project Zero, Tessen must hold current evidence that the route costs nothing. Evidence that is missing, out of date or contradicted makes the route ineligible. If no eligible route can serve, the request is refused with a clear reason — it is never quietly sent somewhere that costs money.

What you choose, and what Tessen chooses

You choose Project Zero by selecting tessen/project-zero. Tessen chooses the zero-cost capacity behind it. Project Zero does not publish the provider or model serving a request, so that capacity can change without your configuration changing.

What it is not

  • Not unlimited. It draws on a shared daily pool, and allocations and concurrency controls may apply to keep it useful for everyone.
  • Not a paid tier, and never an upgrade prompt. A refused request is refused, not upsold.
  • Not a promise about the future of Tessen pricing. Future commercial Tessen Code offerings can be separate from the Developer Alpha.

Usage is metered even though the developer price is zero, so the pool can be run honestly and grown from real capacity.
